The Terminus Smart A2 Pod Miner from GekkoScience is the first to feature a built-in single-board computer (SBC) and a high-resolution OLED screen running a full Raspberry Pi OS with a customized version of the CGMINER mining software. Together with the integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi controller, this makes the Terminus Smart A2 a fully functional standalone Bitcoin miner.<\/p>\n

Depending on the set clock rate, the Terminus Smart A2 achieves between 4 and 5 TH\/s.<\/p>\n

Clock rate, voltage and telemetry data<\/h3>\n

The web interface allows you to adjust clock speed, core voltage, fan speed and core voltage, and to display ASIC temperature and power consumption.<\/p>\n

Connectivity<\/h3>\n

The miner features a rear USB-C port for power supply with a standard USB-C power adapter, as well as a front-mounted USB-C expansion port. The microSD card for the SBC can be removed from the front, similar to a Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n

Controls<\/h3>\n

The Terminus Smart A2 can be operated and monitored via its built-in interface. Upon initial startup, the miner opens its own Wi-Fi network, allowing for basic configuration, particularly setting up its own Wi-Fi connection. After restarting, the miner connects to the Wi-Fi network specified during configuration and displays the assigned IP address on its screen. All other settings, such as clock speed, core voltage, fan speed, and whether to use a shared or solo mining pool, can then be configured via the specified IP address using any web browser.<\/p>\n

Professional statistics and direct access<\/h3>\n

The web interface also provides access to numerous detailed statistics for the CGMiner mining software. Experts can access the built-in single-board computer via SSH using a Unix terminal.<\/p>\n
