Bitaxe Gamma v601 Open Source Bitcoin Miner – ICE Tower Overclocker Edition

The well-known and popular Bitaxe Gamma v601 with BM1370 ASIC is now also available with a particularly efficient cooling solution. We’ve upgraded the GekkoScience Edition with the ICE Tower heatsink featuring a 5 mm copper heat pipe and installed the whisper-quiet Black Magic fan from thesolomining.co.

The result is a whisper-quiet Gamma that, at standard clock speed and voltage settings, achieves an ASIC temperature 7°C to 10°C lower than with a conventional cooler/fan combination.

We were able to easily access all the overclocking options available in AxeOS without even approaching a critical ASIC temperature.

To ensure the Overclocker Edition doesn’t become top-heavy with its powerful cooler, we’ve equipped it with our heavy-duty stands made of milled, anodized solid aluminum.

Otherwise, this Gamma meets the standard specifications: With its integrated ESP32 controller, the miner achieves up to 1.2 TH/s, making it currently the most energy-efficient and user-friendly miner in the Bitaxe series.

Thanks to the integrated ESP32 controller, no external computer is required for operation. The controller starts an integrated wireless network to configure the miner via a local web page. Once configured and rebooted, the miner logs into your local wireless network and provides you with a local web page with information on mining efficiency and hashrate.
