We offer the well-known and popular Bitaxe Gamma v601 with BM1370 ASIC now with a particularly efficient cooling solution. The GekkoScience Edition of the Bitaxe Gama v601 has two fan headers. This allows us to equip the Gamma on the front with an ICE Tower heatsink with a 5 mm copper heat pipe, which is equipped with the whisper-quiet Black Magic fan from thesolomining.co.
On the back, a custom V-Reg heatsink from thesolomining.co is mounted on the voltage converter, along with a second Black Magic fan that cools the Bitaxe miner from the rear. This cooler/fan combination on the back reduces the temperature of the voltage regulator by up to 23°C.
With this massive cooling upgrade, we can ship the miner with a standard clock speed of 800 MHz, which allows a hash rate of approximately 1.8 TH/s. That’s a statement!
To ensure that the Overclocker Edition doesn’t become top-heavy with its powerful cooler, we’ve given it our heavy stands made of milled, anodized solid aluminum.
Otherwise, this Gamma complies with the standard specification: With its integrated ESP32 controller, the Gamma is currently the most energy-efficient and user-friendly miner in the Bitaxe series.
Thanks to the integrated ESP32 controller, no external computer is required for operation. The controller starts a built-in wireless network for configuring the miner via a local website. After configuration and reboot, the miner logs into your local wireless network and provides you with a local website with information about mining efficiency and hash rate.
